Bringing the arts to justice involved youth, and their work to the public.
You can make a difference for justice-involved youth. They are still kids.

Bringing artists & arts workshops to justice-involved youth in Flint & Genesee County.

Youth Arts: Unlocked introduces artistic concepts and techniques to justice-involved youth by offering a safe space to connect, express, learn, and discover. Our goal is to reduce anxiety, stress, and offer opportunity for positive peer to peer communication and increase self-esteem.
We offer workshops in the visual arts, spoken word poetry, theatre, dance and yoga. A separate gender-based program HERSTORY: UNLOCKED addresses the unmet needs of incarcerated girls.

Our workshops take place inside the Genesee County Juvenile Justice Center (GCJJC) through two programs: Arts In Detention & Arts On Probation in Flint, Michigan.
